Battle For The Shrine Tournament

     Calling all 40K gamers!!  The Russell Raiders gaming club & Base Camp pizza will be holding the second annual Battle For The Shrine tournament in Westfield, MA.  The details: 70 Broad Street, Westfield, MA (Westfield Masonic Building), April 18, 2010 (School Vacation) from 9 AM - 8 PM.  There are custom leadership dice (the second set) available for a $5 donation (2 dice), t-shirts for $10, & food available.  There will also be a raffle.

     The event will be a 40K mega battle, encompassing 2 rooms!  Last years event saw gamers all the way from Boston & Rhode Island!  There will be a "veteran" table (13 years old & up) along with a beginner table.  Both tables will be involved together within the scenaro, but run separately to cater to the individual gaming levels.  There will be awards for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd-and a painting contest.  The raffle will have items including Army Builder, models, a fully painted army, ect.

     The event has a two-fold goal.  First, is to provide an outlet for gamers to have a large tournament, while also bringing in new gamers.  Second, is to raise money for the Shriner's Children's Hospitals.  Don't miss the event!!  If you have any questions, please email me at timberwolves@verizon.net  We'd like to involve as many different gaming platforms as possible, so if you know of one that you'd like to see, & know someone to help us out running it, let us know!
