Character Warjack Upgrades
Over the weekend of Gen Con, Privateer Press was allowing customers to buy the character up grade kits for the five faction plastic warjack kits. These models are from the new Wrath book coming out early next year. So if anyone wants to know anything about these five new character warjacks just post your question here. Right away, I can tell you that all but the Cryx warjack has a special issue rules that allows it to be used in a specific warcaster's themed army. These warjacks do not have any affinities.
The warjacks are:
Malice- Cryx
Truimph- Cygnar
Torch- Khador
Scrouge of Heresy- Protectorate
Discordia- Retribution

Tell me what Discordia does! I demand it. I want a character jack for my elves, their are so bland, they need some character. Literally.
BLAND?!?!?! They have so much to work with!
Charlie, most players look at the elves and Hordes armies as being way behind warmachine armies and that they do not have all the options and such. It doesn't matter that all of the elves warjacks have limited healing and that they have the only model with a 4 inch melee range. He is right, they are just that bland 
If you really want to know about Discordia, I will compare it to a Manticore that way no one gets into trouble for posting models stats and such, just in case Privateer Press or one of their nosey press gangers are looking at this website (aka Charlie

Front of Card:
Stats are the same except Mat and Rat +1.
Ranged Weapon +2 damage, single shot and uses large spray template. Magical.
Melee Weapons (Both arms are the same): +1 damage, Open Fist.
Back of Card:
No ablilites on Ranged or Melee weapons just on Discordia itself.
Field Dependent: Loses Imprint and Ranged attacks.
Imprint: Kinetic Field: Gives a Force Barrier type of ability to Discordia and friendlys within 3 inches. Just change the DEF to ARM bonus.
Special Issue: Can be Bonded to and used in a Rahn themed list. This is not a affinity or gives a warjack bond for tournament play but allows bonding for league and fun play.
Thanks HH, that seems like a safe way to spill the beans. What about a little discussion? I think Discordia is absolutley great with my 2 faves, Ravyn and Vyros. Ravyn has locomotion for movement shenanigans to get the spray just where you want it and she has her feat to beast ALL of the atack rolls for whatever is under the 10" template of doom. Really cool! Vyros loves discordia for bird's eye, mobility and his feat as well. Discordia is a great place to put focus from the feat and also a great engine to produce focus for others from the feat. I've really been looking forward to a mat 7 myrm for him and finally the day has come :) Now, if only he had reach...

I don't mean to derail, but maybe just a slight detour.
As the resident Khador Cheerleader, I must protest. "Torch?" Might as well have named him Soundwave or Bumblebee.
I suggest Khador focus all it's destructive power at the Protectorate until they give us Scourge (I assume the new 'Jack is not actually named after an angry "hum-bugger.") !!! I will also settle for Malice, Wrath, Inferno, Immolator or Orphanmaker.

Unfortunately I can't really say a thing about any of these as I've yet to try them.
I got discordia through a friend and the rules are frickin sweet! Highly recommended especially for Rahn, Ravyn, and Vyros players.
HH you were the circle player I went up against in round 2 right? Do you play a WM faction as well?
