The Next Big Painting Contest!!!

A single model on a 30mm or smaller base

from any line that we carry in the store.

February 14th ~ 21st

Only $2 to enter!

One week to paint up your masterpiece and win fabulous prizes and a store full of accolades!!!

How it works:

On or after Sunday, February 14th, bring your unpainted model (it's ok if it's not yet assembled), and register it with Andy, or any staff member. You then have the rest of the week to paint up your model. This can be done at home, in the store, wherever.

You then need to turn your final model in by 2 PM on the following Sunday, February 21st. All the following week we will be taking votes from every customer.

Prizes for First and Second will be awarded  on Sunday afternoon, the 21st.

Don't forget: bases are part of the model; a Mercedes without tires still looks like a heap of junk.

Another important note: You model must not have any unnaturally loose parts, wet paint or even slightly uncured glue. Our display case vomits out models that try to leave cyanocrylate gasses or paint marks on it's lovely lovely shelves.

We would like to hold on to and show off all submissions for one week after the awards. After the 28th, don't forget come and get them.

I got me a sweet Widomaker Marksman who looks to be in line for this one. : )

But I would be tempted by that new Warwitch Siren if I painted Cryx, and it was available yet!

Officially it has not been, but I'm really thinking that should not be the case.

It's kind of a hold-over from the one-day speed painting thing. And honestly I have bunches of models I would love to consider for the painting contest, but they are all primed. I nearly always prime every model I own, even if I don't get around to painting it.

I think we may be forced to bend on this one and then make it officially allowed on the next one.

So yeah, I'll spread the word that primed is fine.

Cool, that definitely opens more options.

So I'm going to be entering my McMourning model from malifaux...

Funny thing is, I have all my other models primes and ready to go, so for some strange reason I keep painting THOSE instead.
