That's right! We dragged Friday Night Magic back, kicking and screaming--with two adjustments. We're going to try for just once a month and there's now officially no minimum for promo card distribution. So if you're one of our sad, lonely pioneers who find only six opponents ready to play Friday night, we can still give out loot and such.
The official deal: Every First Friday of every month. 5:30pm to close. Standard Format. DCI Official. Free! Cool exclusive FNM promo cards to the top four players.
May First is coming up soon, and will have the added insanity of Alara Reborn releasing too. We may end up running a couple boosters drafts of that too.
Just a quick reminder. Tomorrow is the first friday of the month, which means Friday Night Magic! There are alternate art Wren run vanquishers up for grabs. Be on your toes, the competition was pretty fearce last month. Even in our smallish group there are players of all skill level, so come in and play!
If you can't make it for the type 2 event there will be a draft on Saturday and free League play anytime you want to come in. Speaking of league play, there were a ton of people playing on a Tuesday of all days!
We're all queued up for June 5th and July 3rd FNM Standard format. There's been some chatter about expanding to more FNM's. If there's activity shown, we can definitely do this.
