Fun Play

Unfortunately I'll be busy all day tomorrow...otherwise I'd be there.

You missed some fun.

Played a 25 point game steamroller scenario with the no caster kill rule.  Drake vs Epic Haley.  Drake lost that one to both his and Epic Haley's feat.  The models that were affected by his feat got knockdown and healed one point each time they were disabled and then Epic Haley popped her feat so on my turn all my knockdown models could do was just stand up use any non movement/action abilities.  It was total FUBAR.

Second game was a 100 point 2 caster game.  Drake and the Traitor vs Epic Haley and Kraye.  Round 2 caster kill against Epic Haley with Magnus' two Renegades and on Round 3 caster kill on Kraye with one Renegade and a Nomad.  Didn't even finish Round 3 as Antonio called the game as he only had half a unit of trenchers, half a unit of long gunners, a squire with no warcaster and two jack marshalled warjacks without their jack marshall against all my warjacks and one warbeast and a slew of solos and three units, Sam and the Devil Dogs, Aiyanna & Holt and Dannon & the Bull.  I used both Wrongeye & Snapjaw and Rorsh & Brine in a 4 Star Contract list.  He managed to kill Brine.  He almost took out a Buccaneer that was Jack marshalled to Sam and the Devil Dogs and Thor had a Avalancher that managed I managed to get right in his jacks face right after I shot and destroyed his Long Gunner standard bearer and three other long gunners with a good deviation roll (and Thor's tune up ability on the damage rolls).

Joe and Dave were playing a Merc vs Skorne army.  Joe had Epic Magnus with Boomhowler and company and Dave was playing the new warlock Raseth and the gatormen minion unit.  Dave won that game.  I have a feeling that the gators are going to be a stable in a Raseth army, so if anyone can find a way to crack that nut, they will be a step ahead of the skorne.
