Games, Leagues, and Community
i moved back to this area about a year ago, and connected with many of the old gamers i know via the 131. but their meeting nights (wednesdays) don't always work for me. i was wondering if there is a community or league for WHFB that has meeting nights, or if there are open-play nights where i could possibly get a game? there doesn't seem to be a ton of info on the website that woudl help out minis gamers.
i might be running a summer campaign at Off The Wall depending on what extra cash i can pull in over the summer, but i'd still love to be able to drive 10 minutes down the road (instead of 30) in order to play any games.
so... suggestions, for a new-to-the-area gamer? helpful links, meeting times, forums to check out? people to talk to? people looking for games? special in-store rules?
I'm often around during the day (mid-afternoon) and looking for games. As Jay mentioned Sunday is the meeting for the league you could join in on that. The League is basicly just an excuse to play someone each week you get pairings but its all just for fun. You can either play on sunday or make plans with whoever your paired against to play sometime during the week.
There has been a pretty active WHFB league going on primarily on Sundays. I'm not sure where that is at the moment but Sundays in general seem to be a good day to find WHFB players.
