January Painting Contest:  1 SQUAD, 2 WEEKS

Beginning on January 10th

How it works:

Entry fee: only $2

A single "Squad" from any game system or model line sold in the store.

A squad can be any group of around 3 to 10 models that form a unit or core of a unit in one of the games. Examples are a Combat Squad of Space Marines, Platoon of tanks or infantry from Flames of War, seven rank & file spearmen & the command group from from an Empire Speamen Unit, or maybe a gun crew and their gun. Pretty much any group considered an independent unit of models that work together, but not just 5 guys from the same army.

Diorama-style displays encouraged, but with only two weeks, not really expected!!!

Beginning January 10th to 24th: Bring your UNPAINTED bare metal/plastic squad and check it in with Andy or a Staff Member, and pay your $2. This is a slight change, as you can actually now submit your unpainted models anytime between the 10th and the 24th.

January 10th to 24th: Two weeks to paint your masterpieces!

January 24th: Bring in your finished model by 2pm.  Throughout the following week: everyone will vote for your most awesome paint job!

Awards for first and second will be announced the afternoon of the 31st.
