Malifaux League

I am looking to start up a Malifaux league in the area.  I have 3-4 confirmed players from further south in the state, and wanted to open this up to anyone interested in participating.  There is no store setting, so is open to everyone.  I do not really want to have this become two seperate leagues, but I will certainly post up all updates, and standings on this forum.  I have been using the131.com to promote interest in the league, and am also accepting signups on that forum. 

Basically the league is designed to increase the number of players in the area interested in Malifaux.  There are a number of players just starting out, so I am starting at a pretty small point size, to get new players involved. 

The league will be starting on Wednesday February 17th.  I will post up the first scenario, and new scenarios will be posted up on Wednesdays.  Games can be played on any day of the week, and at any location.

Starting: Each player gets 15SS and a Master

Time: the league would run for 4 weeks. Each week has a different scenario (based on the ones in the book) that fits with a running story line. Players are free to play games when they would like during the week. New Scenarios would be posted on Wednesdays (the big gaming night in the area)

Scoring: After the game each player gets 1 D3 extra SS for their crew (+1 if they won). They are limited to 2 games per week and the second game is worth 1/2 the SS rounded up. Each player also receives a number of league points based on how they did in their games. 3 points for a win 2 for a draw and 1 for a loss.

Crews: Crews are maxed out at 35SS this prevents crews from getting too large.

Ending: At the end of 4 weeks players add up their league points and get to add some additional
+5 league points if they played in each of the 4 scenarios
+5 their entire crew is painted by the end of the league
+2 points their crew is at the maximum of 35SS.

That gives a total of 36 league points (24 for games and 12 for others) The player with the most league points is the winner, and gets some sort of a prize.
