Normally I abhor remakes.  But since the original was sort of mindless entertainment to begin with (and WAY off in terms to the true story), I can deal with this one.

Yes it looks amazing.

Do you have a list of what the plans were for remakes this time last year? My guess is that it would look similar in size.. and in some cases in titles.
