New Warbeasts
Check out the main page over at Privateer Press. They have two new warbeasts posted on their front page. A Dire Troll Bomber, who is holding two barrels of explosives and the Razorworm, for Skorne, which doesn't even have the entire warbeast on the base just part of it sticking out of the ground.
They also have a new Senschel for Menoth, An Exemplar Errant one and a new Satyxis Blood Hag plus the Rhulic Cannon! This is a good year lots of new stuff to go with the new rules. With Menoth, Cryx and Mercenaries Force books coming out in the next three months and then having MKII Hordes after that it is going to be a good year all around. I picked up both the Cygnar and Khador books and am working on a few small themed armies for those factions, mostly around 50 points, after that I will just take out the themed list and use mercs to go to a high point army.
Also the new league rules have come out. The league play is a three week event that ends in a tournament battle that follows the old Stampede style of Depletion and capturing of the flags. The add bonus if that there are going to be special cards for certain models/units, that are available on the website, and you use that special model/unit instead of the normal model/unit. While you use these special model/units you cannot use the normal unit.
I could definitely commit to a league campaign, are there any other takers?
Speaking of Trolls, did you see the new Runebearer Warlock Attachment model, looks a little like the Trolls version of the Ten Commandments.
"My fellow Trolls, I give you the 15 Commandments ::CRASH:: I mean the 10 Commandments."
The only thing that bothers me is the name "Warlock Attachment" I hope this does not mean it will be like the old MKI warcaster attachment models, those were a pain to use. Hopefully they will work like the MKII versions that are solos now.
Hordes already has one 'warlock attachment'...see Borka.
No, the game still has 'warcaster/warlock attachments', but they are talking about the 'attachment' rule rather than the actual title of the model i think.

Ah, so THAT's what was 'accidentally' left out in the picture of Kris Aubin....there was alot of speculation of if that was a troll.
That razor worm is pretty rocking looking.
