That's right! By popular demand and due to my announcing and publicizing things wayyyyy too late, we've decided to do another Warhammer Fantasy Tournament!

Sunday October 3rd, All Day!

Check in starts at 11am

12pm: FIRST ROUND!

3pm: SECOND ROUND!

Prizes of GW product for first, second & third!

Similar to 'Ard Boys, it will be 3000 points. There will be pre -set scenarios, likely from the book.

Also similarly, there will be fabulous prizes and yet the tournament will be free!

WYSIWYG rules will be in effect, as will the general what you need to bring rules and expected behavior and model conversion rules.

Not so similar to 'Ard Boys: It will only be Two rounds and you will not be invited to any sort of semi finals.

For those that don't know, like myself, what is the WYSIWYG Rule?

It stands for "What you see is what you get." According to my understanding (I have not read the new adition rule book yet) it basically means you can't proxie minis, and equipment and weapons must be present on the model. Please correct me if I am wrong.

That's exactly right. Saying "this guy with the las rifle actually has a las cannon" just doesn't fly.

Also being a Warhammer tournament with Games Workshop prizes, we expect Games Workshop models. That way there's a lot less confusion over what a model/unit is versus what it's supposed to be representing. We allow non-GW models, but generally as parts of conversions or models like Great Eagles, Giants or other blatantly obvious models that in no way diminish or confuse the devotion to the hobby side of Warhamer.
