Things ive noticed after playing a handfull of games in 8th edition.

1.  Army standard bearers are a must--  Reroll all leadership tests...who doesnt want that?

2.  True line of sight takes some getting used to---You can see and shoot at taller/larger units behind smaller ones  pegged a few rat ogres off this way.

3.  The new terrain hasn't effected too many games i've played.  With all those new rules for each piece of terrain, none of them have been a real gamebreaker, though they can be used strategically.

4.  Rolling more dice is fun---7th edition maybe 8ish dice for attacks, 8th at least 10 usually 15-20.  Big handfulls of dice = lots of fun!

5.  Magic is like a time bomb, you just hope it doesnt go off in your hands--- I've seen wizards play a huge role, killing lots of guys, but  half the time they end up killing themselves, and other friendly models in a blaze of glory.

Anyone play any games yet and have anything stand out?

I've been dying to give it a try but haven't yet had an opportunity. I was really excited to read your impressions.
