Tim's stolen figures/case
Sometime on the afternon of Saturday the 11th it appears someone opened up Tim's (unzippable) truck window and stole his Cygnar army. It's likely the theif, thinking it was a computer or maybe camera stuff & discovering the un-sellability of it, just dumped it. However, in case they didn't and someone comes across it as the theif tries to sell it, we want it back even more than we want to catch the f**ker.
Here's Tim's description:
Black Sabol Army Transport case. Two Warmachine pins on the carrying strap.
On the inside flap are the Call to Arms patches, carrying tape measure, dice, various templates and counters and paper cut-out templates.
Many Cygnar miniatures, mostly painted blue, some unpainted and partially painted, but most are fully painted. Approximately 80 miniatures. Front zipper and flapped pockets have stat cards and WM Prime Remix rulebook.
Of course, we would like to catch the thief, but would love to recover the minis even more. So, if they come to you and the chance to buy them but not catch the thief arises, Greenfield Games will gladly pay $150 to get them back.

It really gets me down that thievery even happens. I wish Tim the best in getting his minis back, and I'll do my best to help out if a situation arises.
Tim got his minis back!
I'll leave it somebody else to give out the details but the gist of it is that the minis showed up in the store today with a bit of damage and a couple of missing minis but otherwise he got everything back.
Wow! That is excellent!
Long story short, it appears the thief dumped the majority of the stuff on Conway street Saturday-ish. Some little kid picked it up while delivering newspapers with his dad. When his dad wouldn't let him keep them he traded them to one of our regulars for PS games. Our regular then tried to trade them to me for store credit. Somewhere along the the line, one of the kids tried to repair the broken arms with a hot glue gun, and also sorted everything in the case.
Also there's the odd side story involving Jimmy's Uncle's Uncle seeing Magic cards strewn about Conway street, Chris & Jimmy going over there Wednesday to look around for minis and some dude on the second floor returning to them a box marked "Tim & Caitlin's Magic Cards" that Tim & Caitlin didn't even know were missing.
And then there was the part where I pretty much made a poor little kid cry by giving him the third degree. But I console myself in teaching him that any item found on the side of the road that is worth picking up is often worth letting the police know about, as that's where thieves leave unwanted stuff. And as the cop said, possessing stolen goods, whether you know it or not, is still illegal.
What with the Main Street fight this morning, that's two police calls in two days.
Or maybe I taught him to avoid Seth because he's a mean old bastard and never reveal to anyone things you "find by the road."
I am EXTEMELY happy to see my stuff back, and as good condition as they were in.
I will have to start playing alot of warmachine now, because who knows when I will lose these things again, and never get them back.
On a seperate note, I should start gambling with the luck that I have.

I think we should keep an eye out on Ebay and Craigslists too. 'Cause if you report that an item someone's trying to sell on there is stollen, they are extremely helpful at retreiving it. Or that's at least what I've heard.
