Word Verification a pain

I don't like the word verification program used to tell if I'm a bot or not. This one in particular has a Doctor's handwriting. It took me six tries just to post onto my RPG thread.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of "Captchas" either, but unless we pretty much ban new users its kinda hard to avoid them...

I've searched all over the admin stuff and I can't find settings for that. It's allowing you to post new topics just fine, but replying requires verification for each reply?

Oh and it looks like it only does this in response to somone responding to a thread, rather than creating a whole new thread in the first place. That seems to defeat it's purpose.
