Problem Sending Messages
I've had trouble sending Dan (~Firewing~) messages. I believe it may have something to do with the swishamajigs (~) at the sides of his username. Keeps telling me that there are no valid recipients.
I've both found forum posts of his and done that and tried replying to new and old messages. No luck. It's not much of a big deal right now. I'm just trying to send him a link to a chronicled RP run that somebody wrote up, but I don't want to drop the link here because of excessive swearing in the first chapter of the run. Guess I'll just write down the link and hand it to Dan when I see him on Tuesday.

Dang. I'll have to see if those that understand these things can get a chance o figure this out. With this new system, I am pretty unaware, sadly.
I just tested out this theory and it looks like Kas is correct. The ~ in ~Firewing~s name seems to give the system fits. Not much to be done about it. My guess is that the new system probably wouldn't allow that name to be registered... but since it got grandfathered in with the old forums it sort of broke the messaging system for him.
That's too bad.
Anyway, I created a new account to solve this problem (at least in my case), so any messages you want to send to me (Dan) send to this account (which I will be using from now on).
Oh, and if Seth or another person who is in charge of the site could delete the ~Firewing~ account I would appreciate it since it will no longer be in use.
We probably could just alter that account name as well...
Just find a post of his (there is one a few spots down from this one) and click his name.
Should work fine then.
