Sigh...PP is gonna get yet MORE of my money...
I'm not sure I like your tone. :P
Shrug, who has an original idea anymore? Although I'd argue its not very much like blood bowl because its not football based, nor does it have each army represented. Plus I'm willing to bet PP will continue to support the game (at least print it) rather than let it age quietly in a closet somewhere like GW did.
Originally the game rules were published in a No Quarter as just another goofy thing to do with your models. That was years ago. So I think it was good buisness since all they really had to do was get a couple new models (which they probably had anyway since they are going to start using more plastics), grab some MonPoc dice, and slightly update the rules they already had lying around.
I wasn't being sarcastic.
This looks cool, and it reminds me of Blood Bowl.
If they were to do a tactical combat board game (ala Space Hulk) I would be all over that too.
Yeah, I figured.
And just when I thought my wallet was reasonably safe....The first Warmachine model in EXTREME scale is released!!! It's not like I don't already have the resin version of a Juggernaut, but ths one would be playable!! And it's not like I use my current Juggernauts that often, but this one is so dead sexy with over a score of parts and all that poseability!!!! It's also not like I don't have plenty of better things to do with $60 bucks, but geez, saving for another motorcycle is not nearly as safe a path in life.
I guess now we know how they are paring down their metal supply as they convert to plastic !
For those who don't know what Seth is trying to come to terms with:
The JUGGARNAUT EXTREEEEEME! (pictured next to the normal model)

You know, the ONLY problem I have with the extreme models is they seems kinda silly to actually play with as they look so different compared to all the other models on the board.
In other words, I want ALL extreme models, otherwise my big guy just looks a bit out of place...

So they're doing their own form of Blood Bowl, eh?
I can't wait until they do their own version of Space Hulk.
