GG at Connecticon
I just wanted to mention that this weekend is Connecticon... a large pop-culture/anime/cosplay/gaming/etc convention down in Hartford and the store will have a booth there for the purposes of selling games and game-related accessories.
Be sure to stop by and say hi if you're there. I think we're on the Northernmost line of booths near the exit.
I've never been to this con previously but based on their (incomplete) website it looks like the big focus is on the cosplay side of things. Still, they have a very robust gaming lineup, so that part should be pretty cool. They might even have some miniature gaming but since that part of the website is blank (as are many other parts) it's hard to say for sure.
If you want to find out more then you can check out their website here. Just don't go looking for information about miniature gaming events, directions to the event, autographs, panels and workshops, Literary Guests, Featured Artists, Traditional Gaming Guests... I think you get the point. You can download the program though. http://www.connecticon.org/program2009-small.pdf.

I recall talking with one of the coordinators, and it appears they do have non-stop Magic going on, back to back tournaments all day, the whole weekend. Sadly, it appears the TT minis section will be filled out after the con, and perhaps, as extensive as their board game collection is, there may be no organized events. Hard to know.
I'd say bring your camera, as there will be a wealth of opportunities for "i can haz cheezbuger" type pictures.
