Found this on the PP site today. So Seth and Charlie, are you guys going to try and run this event? Are there enough players interested in playing this event?
Flash Point Event Details:
- Check with your store to see which day the event will be run (events can be scheduled beginning September 18, or any time after that)
- The event will last 1 day, approximately 8 hours, and will last between 4-6 rounds (depending on number of players, how fast your games run, etc)
- Players will play in multiple rounds throughout the day, accumulating points to try to attain the following goals:
- Dawnlord–The Dawnlord medal goes to the player with the most consecutive wins as defender. In the case of a tie, the player with the highest flag count is the Dawnlord.
- Fane Knight–The Fane Knight medal goes to the player with the highest flag count at the end of the day (counting the flags captured as well as the flags defended). If there is tie for most flags, the player with the most Mage Hunter VPs is the Fane Knight.
- Mage Hunter–The Mage Hunter medal goes to the player with the most Mage Hunter VPs. In the case of a tie, the player with the highest flag count is the Mage Hunter.
- Arcanist–The Arcanist medal goes to the player who wins the painting contest for best-painted myrmidon model.

Meh...I don't think enough people cruise the forums like they used to. I'm sure we can pull off a good event even if people don't sign up here.
I can order up the prize kit. I guesstimate we'd need to charge $5 a head. There's a little bit of interest in a one day event, from my casual asking around.
The date at the top there talking about March is wrong. We can technically run this officially anytime after Sept 18th.
Sorry about the Date Seth, I just cut and pasted for PP's site and for some reason they forgot to change the book release event date from the last one the had (Schism for Meta). The date is fixed in the top post now.
Well, I'm pretty much booked for this month, but October and November sould be fine.
What's a sould? Did Broga teach you that word? 
The medallions are in, and although I generally don't like the purely decorative prizes, these are very impressive.
Any suggestions/preferences for date?
I have the Mon-Sun off for Halloween so that Sun, Nov 1st is good for me but I can try to get a specific sunday off I just need to know a few weeks ahead of time to be able to request the time off.
Nov 1st should be good for me. Lets pencil it in!
Whoo-hoo! Works for the store. If, I'm not mistaken, Daylight Savings ends that day, so we'll want to remind people of that closer to the day.
So for the painting contest for the Flashpoint event, it says best painted Retribution warjack, are we going to stay with that limitation? Or open it up to best jack/beast?
Lets open it to best jack/beast...I don't think we have many Retribution players around.
That's cool. I got the book, mostly beacuse I get all the books anyways but Rena is still deciding if she wants to play this army.
