No, it's not a whole new game, but it will be an article in the upcoming Wargames Illustrated magazine. And you never know... they have been talking about doing a new historical period for a while.

In a couple of weeks time you will be seeing Wargames Illustrated 266 hit the shelves. This issue has something very new inside it and something we have enjoyed doing as a break from our usual toil. I am not going to tell the whole tale and ruin the surprise when you see the Wargames Illustrated issue, but for reasons that made sense to us at the time we decided to come up with a wonderful Flames Of War conversion to allow you to fight the battle of Ia Drang in the early part of the US involvement in Vietnam war. The battle is the focus of a film “We Were Soldiers” and if you a have not already seen this before we highly recommend it.

The Wargames Illustrated gives you all the rules you will need to play this out. For existing Flames Of War players this will all seem very straight forward with only the additional helicopter rules and the scenarios to getting your head around. The game plays well and is a great deal of fun.
