Bring two lists:
100 Points Old Republic versus Sith!!!
No character may cost more than 80 points.
Gambit points as normal.
Before set-up each round, you'll randomly determine who plays which side.

6pm, $2, 3 rounds Swiss. Booster pack prizes, but no WotC ltd figs this week.
faction pure, no fringe.
Why is it Old Republic instead of Republic? Seems like Republic vs Seps would fit Episode 1 better.

Was kinda wondering that myself.
Well, I think the first post lends a clue to why it's currently Old Republic rather than Republic....because I forgot what we finally agreed upon last Friday and was hoping whoever first suggested it would chime in and correct me, if wrong. I hold on to that hope. :?
Wasn't it Old Republic vs Sith, 100 points, no figures over 80? That's the last thing I remember from Friday. Of course, It's all a whirlwind merry-go-round of hazy shapes and discordant sounds after my weekend...
Well, it was the one where, if the "evil" guys had access to the two figures of around 82 and 84 points the one "good" figure of about 43 points that Tim mentioned would hardly stand a chance....hence the no 80+ point models.
Ah! Ok, got the correct story from the Blake-o-nator, and have corrected the original post!!!
Woo Hoo! It makes sense now.
Now to go look for those OR pieces I've never even taken out of the bags.
Ha, my first thought was an image of you throwing bagged minis onto the table and shouting, "I choose you, Bastila Shan!" :)
This is sad. I have bins overflowing with hundreds of minis in my room and I have a grand total of 8 Old Republic minis.
Hey Seth, is this faction pure or can we bring Fringe? I had originally thought it was faction pure, but after re-reading the original post I'm not so sure...
I hope it stays faction pure. I already came up with a few different squads and aside from picking which to bring I don't want to think any more.
I'm inclined to agree with ya, Homer. Otherwise someone will show up with a 100 point Fringe squad and use it for both sides...

If Fringe was allowed I was going to bring 92 points of Fringe then add an Old Republic Soldier or Sith Trooper depending on whither I was playing the Sith or OR side.
Faction pure, no Fringe.
yeah... we're going to see alot of similar squads
But since every match up will be OR vs Sith, you won't see any similar squads fighting each other! :)

I was thinking that before I started work on mine, but I came up with 4 different OR squads and an even larger number of Sith ideas. If nothing else I'll at least be playing a bunch of new pieces for the first time.
My comment would be the Faction Pure also means that if you play Ulic Qel Droma you still can only play Sith, NO MANDALORIANS!

faction pure or can we have fringe?
