The next, Next Big Game Auction!
[b]What: [/b]Here's your opportunity to turn your old games into store credit for shiny new ones! Bring them all in. From role playing books, board games, CCGs and miniature armies to classic family games, from Chainmail to X-Box games; bring them in and have us auction them off for you!
This is absolutely your very best chance of the Summer to pick up some great deals on used games.
[b]Where:[/b] Right here in the store, 228 Main Street, right between Country Jeweler and Taylor's Restaurant.
[b]When: [/b][b][color=red]Saturday the 21st of July[/color][/b]. Starting at 12pm and running about two+ hours.
[b]How:[/b] We are accepting items up to the day of the auction. Anything that sells, becomes credit for you to purchase new items. If your stuff doesn't sell, you can just take it back. Anything you win a bid on, can be paid for right then and there.
[i]So, be sure to come and join the fun, find some great deals and meet some other great local gamers![/i]

You can start bringing it in right away. The longer it's here, the better chance it has of generating interest in possible bidders!

If there is chainmail there....just for the sheer awsomeness of it I will be forced to bid on the thing I want, which being awsome is the clear choice of someone whos bidding at an auction of "awsome things". Thus I will bid on the thing which, being at this auction has to be awsome. Which means that chainmail is on my "Awsome List".

Well when I went today I saw some RPG books, a big bag of SW minis, and a couple boxes of a CCG. Not to mention ur necrons and sw minis.
Wow. I have a real hard time honoring that borderline English spam-like demand with any kind of half way polite response.
But, I guess I can say we are auctioning some games and some other cool stuff.
More comes in every day, and so telling you what we're getting before we've gotten it is beyond me...like grammar is for others.
I'll be out of town on the 19th, may I put some stuff up for Auction if I'm not going to be there?
I was up there on free game day... bought more dice, bad me. So glad to see you finally updated the web page and listed info for the next auction before it was to late for me to ask for the day off! So I plan to be there on July 21st.. spend even more money! :D See you guys soon! Did the store get in more order of the stick yet? I'm still waiting for the new villains story.
So I stopped in to the store the other day and saw some of the goodies that are going to be showing up in the auction. Highlights include:
A gameboy advanced with several games including golden sun (which is a really good RPG), and Shining Soul (which is a pretty decent simplified diablo type game for the GBA). These two games are a lot of fun and a good start for a GBA collection. Sadly the other games are Yugioh related, which might actually be a draw for some. This lot will probably be a steal.
A nice British Flames of war army. Includes LOTS of tanks and a few infantry units. Looks like a great way to get into the game. Has a yellow base coat on most of the models, which isn't all that attractive by itself but would probably look good with a wash and some highlights. This is the most complete FoW army to hit a Greenfield games auction yet.
There are also a ton of white wolf rpg books, so if you are a fan of white wolf you'll probably find something of interest in the huge stack of lots.
There was also a copy of Age of Empires 3, which is supposed to be a pretty good game and is a relatively recent release.
Besides that I saw some sundry CCGs (Magic, Avatar, etc), various Clix minis, board games, and the like. Not so many random rpg books, but those usually come in mass right before the auction itself. It looks like this auction is going to shape up to be a great one, people are getting some nice lots into the auction early. Head in to the store and check out the dragon horde of neat stuff!
As usual I'll post a few things I'm looking for....
Shadowrun books, I'm always looking for second, third, and fourth edition books. I'll probably even happily buy books that I already own. Ideally if you are selling a big lot of books and you have a shadowrun book or two in the mix, just separate out the shadowrun books and make a second lot.
Call of Cthulhu RPG books, I'm sure others would be interested in these as well.
Terrain would catch my interest for the right price. Small placeable pieces like you see in the store. Buildings, trees, etc.

Been there like 5 times and at every other seller a chinese stall is set up with tons of weapons... I would have bought a battle axe ($15), had I known my family wasnt going to carry our bags on the plane again lol.
You also would have bought a piece of garbage.
If you kiddies are gonna buy a weapon, at least get one thats gonna hold up is a fight...gees
the renacamce fair had HUGE broad swords, katanas and other awesome weapons for ceap. some at $30(less than a coreset!!) :D
There are two swords. One is .... of lesser quality. The other is a big two-handed Scimitar, I forget what the starting bid was. I think it's in the range of $60-$70. It's a very substantial blade.
I've also got a Chain Shirt and Metal Helm up on the auction block as well.
