I played my first game of PIRATES last night (the collectible card/mini game from Wizkids). It's pretty damned fun! I've always been a fan of ship combat games and this is a fun little game that is detailed enough to be interesting and fast enough to be able to do with little prep-time. I'm sold!

Jay, Tim, and anyone else who plays pirates....

What is a standard point value that you guys play? The rules say 30 points, but that seems kinda small to me.

So what is most common? 40? 50?

Also, is anyone willing to do some trades?
