That's right! We're hosting another great day for role players!

This one's being sponsored by Wizards of the Coast specifically and promises all sorts of goodies above and beyond a couple adventures created special just for the occasion!

This year would-be heroes can travel to Icewind Dale, home to one of D&D's most often used as the name for cool online dudes everywhere, Drizzt.

So keep Saturday, November 3rd free, come in and sign up to play in what should be another excellent RP day. And maybe even score yourself a limited edition figure with 4th Edition stats!! Ohhh!!!

If you have no clue what Dungeons & Dragons is, then this is a great way to find out just what it's all about, for free with no preparation on your part needed.

And our first GM's own adventure is:
Seth (me) running another installment of X-Crawl

Hey Seth is it true that games run that day need not be D&D? I'm considering a D20 Modern Mummy game, or a Runequest game as a posibility.

Yup, the day's open to any role play system. The adventure designed by Wizards will just have alot of neat support from them.

So, I'll definitely be running the Degenesis quickstart adventure. If anyone's interested, there are four pre-made characters to play as. The game uses a 2d10 skill system. I'd like to test it out to see if I'll like it enough to buy it once they're done translating it from German to English, which should be some time during winter of this year.

For those of you who don't know about it yet, Degenesis is a dystopian post-apocalyptic setting where humanity wasn't its own destructor. Instead, we were hit by a storm of irradiated meteors, choking us off from the sunlight and wiping out most of humanity. Now Africa and Europe seem to be the only havens for humanity, and it's a struggle for everyone to survive.

So, if you're interested, check it out on game day. From the looks of the quickstart, the game has a lot of potential.

The official start times will be posted as we get closer, but I'd say it would be safe to assume some at noonish, some at 4ish. There will be a couple people running things, times will probably be spread out as in onc case a DM (running one event) wants to play in another.

Boston, have I met your friend? Can he/she come in? It's possible they could still run it.

Well, bringing your own dice if you have them would be a good thing to do, and some paper to keep notes if you're a note taking kind of player.

Boston, there's enough sets of cool accessories for several people to run the adventure, so just get yer friend to stop in before November 3rd.

I'll be running X-Crawl at Noon (oh, so early...wahhhh), and after getting a peek at The Fall of Frostsilver, I'm tempted to run that in the evening, but we'll have to see for that one.

Oh, wow. The whole event totally slipped from my mind. I can't even remember what I did on Saturday. Sorry for missing everything. :(
