The New & Improved NEXT BIG GAME AUCTION!!!
That's right the next Big Game Auction is upon us!
If we have your mailing address this should be somewhat old news. If we don't have your mailing address, you should be asking yourself two things: What's he going on about and why on earth have I not given my FLGS my mailing address?

Greenfield Games is hosting it's next Big Game Auction Saturday the 19th of July!
There's a few twists this time, so pay close attention.
We are accepting items up until July 12th. On July 13th we will start the Silent Auction portion of this Summer's auction. All week, the majority of the items will be available for silent bidding. How that works is you come in, sign your name (or an assigned number if you prefer) and the amount you're interested in paying for an item. At anytime until closing on the 19th, others can come in and bid higher, at which point you might want to come in and outbid them. This gives much greater exposure to all items, without having to listen to Joe, Jay or me rattle on about every single item. Some items, the biggest & coolest, we'll be saving for a traditional Live Auction at 1:30 on the 19th. This leads me to the next twist. Minimum and starting bids on all items has been raised to $5. So, if you think what you're offering is worth less than that, we don't really want to bother bidders with it.
So bring your items in right away! Unlike past years, bringing them in the day of the auction will be too late. Come in and check out what's already been entered. Stop in from July 13th through July 19th to bid on things and then prepare for an excellent day on the 19th, where we'll be allowing for last minute bids on the silent items, running a shorter Live Auction AND having refreshments as well as the traditional gamers playing where ever it gets in my way the most!
Auction Lot submission deadline: Saturday July 12th, 9pm
Silent Auction: Sunday July 13th through Saturday July 19th
Live Auction: Saturday July 19th, 1:30
Silent Auction closings: Saturday, July 19th at 12:30 (Roleplaying Games & Oddball Stuff), 1:00 (Board & Family Games), 1:30 (Collectible Games) and 2:00 (Tabletop Mini Games & more Oddball Stuff)
Minimum/Starting bid: $5.00
Due to this new format, gift card payment may require a little more time to process. We may need to distribute winning credit the following week.
Guess the question remains, will we have a viewable document showing what will be available for the silent auction and the live auction? This way if there is something in the silent auction I see and know I want to come bid on, I can scurry myself over and place a bit, or so I know what will be featured during the live auction on Saturday to determine if I want to bid on anything then.

Good question, gross exploding head guy! I'm sure we will make that happen by Monday, or Sunday if I harass Jay on painting day.

I always love the auction and visiting Greenfield! See you there...and this time I come with the Zoggin' Zoggers in tow to try out those new 5E rules!
So when is the next auction?
I got various books I'd like to unload:
1st ed AD&D books. Have all seen some use, so they aren't in awesome condition:
Players handbook
Monster manual 1
Monster manual 2
Fiend Folio
Unearthed Arcana (a bit more beat up than the others)
2nd ed AD&D stuff. Pretty decent condition:
Players handbook
Dungeons masters guide
Monsterous manual
Tome of magic (I used to love playing wild mages)
Lasty I got a bunch of old White Wolf books all in very good shape. Note that these are the older ones. Not the newest World of darkness stuff out now (i.e. out of date):
Vampire the masquerade
World of darkness: Combat
Mage the Ascension
Mage, book of shadows
Werewolf the apocalypse
Werewolf players guide
Gurahl sourcebook (werebears)
Mummy (second edition)
Make me an offer.
All money will be spent at Greenfield Games :)
The store would likely be interested for it's used RPG section. If you want, I can give you a price for cash or credit (more) for the store , but I'd need to look 'em all over to calculate an offer.
The next auction's in January.
Oh...that might work. Credit is good.
I'll bring the pile up on the 21st. I forget if you work sundays (no?) so I can always leave the pile and you can look em over and shoot me a PM or something...
Thought I would bump this.
Any word on the next auction date?
Yes. And Seth will tell you just as soon as he sees this.
Word on the street is the 4th or 5h Saturday of this month. Time to dust off your neglected games and get them into the auction! I'm sure Seth will be posting specifics soon.
Some auction hints. Warhammer Fantasy has had a huge resurgence, now would be the time to sell an old army (or even better, get back into the game!). Old or new there is probably somebody interested. 40k, as always, sells.
RPG books tend to sell well, there are a few people who collect certain systems so it makes sense to limit your lots to specific systems. For instance, I'm much most likely to bid on a Shadowrun or Warhammer Fantasy lot than I am on a lot that happens to have those books in them.

Boo! I'll be away on business, you guessed it, the 12th-19th!
Boo!
