Warhammer Fantasy Painting Challenge
I had a thread where I was posting updates on my painting progress, but I started painting a second army. I also figured I make a more open thread.
The idea is pretty simple people can post a list of models that they are painting / going to paint. Then they can give updates when they feel like it.
Vampire Counts
Ghouls -- bone white, Mettalics, Washes, blood
Zombies -- Washes, blood
Black Knights -- mud wash (Not sure what to do about weapons)
Fell Bats -- Charcoal, Vermin Drybrush, Grey dry brush, Flesh Tones
Varghulf -- Vermin Drybrush, Grey Dry Brush, Flesh Tones
Vampire Lord -- So far only primed.. No real plan
Spirit Hosts -- blue base, bone white dry brush, skull white highlights, grey hair
Skaven
Plague Monks -- Flesh Tones, Flesh Wash, Mud wash, Brown Hair, Metallic weapons
Jezzails -- Mud Wash, Earth gun stocks, mettallic barrels / equipment, flesh / flesh wash
Assassins x 5 -- Cathan Brown (leather), Brass (equipment), Gunmetal (weapons)
Characters: 3 Engineers, 1 Plague Monk, 1 Warlord, 2 Chieftains Censor Bearers -- Green Cloaks, dry brush camo, Charcoal fur, flesh / flesh wash, earth (handles), brass weapons
This painting challenge is brought to you by Foundation paints and Citadel Washes.
Current Projects:
Leman Russ Battletank
Base coat/camo applied, tracks painted. Last night started working on paint scrapes and rust. After that comes general oil-washes.
Hellhound Flame Tank
Primed. First camo mask applied to the hull but not yet the turret. Need to finish the final masking then start painting process.

my plan is to end up with 25 fully painted Orcs in the next 2 weeks, I have enough flesh painted, I just need to apply clothes, weapons and armor, eyes and teeth to them.
Update!
Progress:
Vampire Lord -- Fully Painted!
Spirit Hosts -- Fully Painted!
Ghouls / zomibes -- Everything except for washes and blood
Fell Bats -- Everyhing except for wings (Tried a few things, but none clicked)
Next up is getting washes on almost everything, and figuring out what to do with all those darn wings.

Holy crap. Looking back at what I had planned a year ago, apparently that was my list of models to ignore.
You have inspired me to try again. And as I've been pretty active, this should be easier.
Daemons:
1st: about 2/3rds done with 17 Bloodletters & a Herald on Juggernaut
2nd: Finish the six Flamers
3rd: 17 Daemonettes that need to match their painted sisters, including a Herald
Somewhere in there I'm going to start work on the Great Unclean One, possibly making an oversized Nurgling palanquin to allow him to be taken as the character dude.
OK.
So, an update:
Video Game hours: 0.0
17 Bloodletters & 1 Herald on Juggernaut: done
All 38 Daemonettes: done
30 Nurglings: @ 75% done
Epidemus: @80% done
Great Unclean One, 7 Nurgly Bases & 2 Palanquins: primed
5-6 movement trays: @80% done
Six flamers: waiting for more core troops & hero/lord progress
Update:
Video Game Hours: 3.5
30 Nurglings (incl. 2x Cmd.): Done
Epidemus: 80% (in painting contest)
Great Unclean One, 7 Nurgling bases & 2 Palanquins: Palanquins are about 70% done with basic colors & some washes, the other models are still just primed (took a break to play GTA)
5-6 Mvmt. Trays: No porgress. Got demoralized and disinterested when some broke, again....I hate all my glued together, non-wood movement trays.
Six Flamers: No progress
Giant boat for Window Display: Flash, mold lines and molding errors partially repaired. Trying to decide whether or not to just spray prime it brown.
Lord of Slaneesh (Hahhahaha!!! I just couldn't resist. It was the last greater daemon at the old GW prices and I really want to play it): Very nice basing work done with tiles, if I do say so. Primed and screaming at me for join line work and then paint!
Impressive. MOST impressive.
I was pdoing a pretty good job of being productive in my painting, but then I got side-tracked both by video games and working on the shop itself. I had to put away a lot of the stuff that I was working on because the drywall dust was getting into everything. So now my productivity is current 0.
Hmm.. now that I'm thinking about it perhaps I'll try to being that up a bit today.

I'll try to keep the list small so I can reach goals.
[list]@ 25 Nurgle Plaugebearers with two palanquins--finish open wounds, add yellowing decay around said wounds, bases need drybrushing and flock.
Tzeench Flamers--One done, five to go.
Paint standard for Tzeench Horrors.
Build one Warshrine for Mortals[/list:u]
