Fantasy Flight Games

This sort of slipped past my game news radar recently. It might be that I've known that this game has been coming for a number of years now so it didn't really strike me as particularly big news. But then I get a glimpse of what FFG has planned and then it gets me all excited again.

I'm thinking that this RPG could be the RPG that gets me playing RPGs in earnest again. Seriously. Who DOESN'T want to play a kick-ass space marine with all of the gear at his disposal out in the universe kicking Xeno ass and taking names? Yeah, I figured that you did.

So, you won't be able to do this before August (although there's always Free RPG Day, right). In the mean time FFG will be teasing out a bunch of info in the coming months. You can have a look at that here.

As I have mentioned elsewhere, I have a deep fondness for the Commands & Colors game system. I also have a completely unrelated fondness for the Game of Thrones series from George RR Martin. In fact, I'm currently rereading the first book in the series for the third time... and loving it.

Well, Fantasy Flight Games has decided to take these two things and make them one.
